Day 2 in the STUDIO!

How’s it going, you little Boston cream pies. It’s D-Tox again. Just had some Mexican food from Sombrero, just because. It kicked ass! Duke is pounding the skins to “Voicemail” a few more times. We at the Grenade Lair strive for perfection, and good things come to those who are patient. Anyway, we’ll have this track done on the drums today, ready for mixing and mastering. It’s being fine tuned as we speak, and the next song we will work on for drums is “What’s Inside Us”, which is one of my personal favorites because it has a strong skate punk influence.

I’m pretty stoked today, as no boogers are being flailed my way. It’s hard to dodge those things. We had another session of guy talk in the studio today. With any luck, there weren’t any females in the other room eavesdropping. Last time a lot of funny shit was said and then the next thing you know, this girl walks in and gives me a weird look. I guess all there was to do was to look her right in the eye and be like, “hey, I’m Daren. Nice to meet you!” and then laugh my ass off when she left.
